Chapter 04
The supply side.
Without providers there is no business — only a phone that rings into nothing. Sourcing them is the second-hardest part of bord, after finding the market. It is also done mostly by hand, on purpose.
Sources + outreach channels

Why this is manual
bord scrapes data with software, but does not message providers with software. Cold outreach via WhatsApp Business API got the previous CTP number permanently blocked in April 2026 (~26 messages, 3 verticals). The rule is now hard: zero automated cold outreach. Every first message is sent by hand from the founder's personal WhatsApp, by clicking a wa.me link in the bord Provider Finder UI.
Manual is slower. Manual is also alive. The factory uses automation where it's safe and human hands where it isn't.
Scraping Google Maps
The Provider Finder dashboard at localhost:4000/provider-finderruns a scraper against Google Maps. Inputs: a service term and a city. Outputs: a list of businesses with name, phone, website, rating, review count, and address. bord stores them, deduplicates, and tags by service category.
The outreach script
Concise, no-brand, relevance-tagged. Sent from the Swiss +41 personal number for .ch, from local numbers for other markets. 10–30 second gap between sends to avoid pattern detection. Never templates from a WABA business number to cold contacts.
The first message offers exactly one thing: a free qualified customer that already wants to buy. It does not pitch software.
Onboarding
A provider that replies positively gets a 5-minute onboarding: name, legal entity, IBAN or PayPal, service area, capacity per day, days off, vertical-specific qualifications. The provider gets added to the roster table. From that moment they can receive dispatched leads.
What you have at the end of chapter 04
A roster of 5–20 onboarded providers per city per vertical. Each knows the deal: bord sends qualified leads, you do the work, you pay 10–20% on closed jobs. Each is reachable on WhatsApp, has confirmed IBAN/PayPal, has a defined service zone. Now the door has supply behind it.
